The initiative to launch a Bachelor in Aviation Management program from Kathmandu University, by Simrik Ventures in collaboration with Siddhartha Vanasthali Institute Panauti, marks a significant advancement in higher education and professional training in Nepal. This partnership combines the strengths of three distinct entities: Simrik Ventures, an Entrepreneurship Village with a broad spectrum of ventures across various sectors, Siddhartha Vanasthali Institute Panauti, an institution with a rich history of over five decades in education, and Kathmandu University, a leading institution in higher education.
Simrik Ventures, with its extensive network of over 30 ventures in more than 12 sectors and a team of 1200+ members, brings a wealth of industry experience and resources to the table. This diverse background ensures that the Bachelor in Aviation Management program benefits from a wide range of industry insights and practical experiences, preparing students for the multifaceted nature of the aviation industry.
Siddhartha Vanasthali Institute Panauti, established in 1951 by visionaries like Late Prof. Bhuwan Lal Joshi and Late Honourable Vijay Nandan Joshi, has been a cornerstone of education in Nepal. Under the leadership of Capt. Rameshwor Thapa since 2074 B.S., the institute has continued to evolve, overcoming challenges such as the COVID-19 pandemic and expanding its offerings to include a 10+2 program in management stream. The institute’s longstanding commitment to education and its successful management under Capt. Thapa’s leadership provide a strong foundation for the Bachelor in Aviation Management program.
